Mini BenchMark

The Mini BenchMark introduction has gone very well. 10 labs have tested this new bar-coding system. The response has been overwhelmingly positive. See the recently updated Mini BenchMark user Guide to find out if your lab could use Mini BenchMark.

Recent Case Manager Enterprise Updates

  • An automatic backup feature was added recently. If enabled it will automatically backup the Case Manager database to the default SQL Server backup folder every day at quitting time. This is no substitute for taking daily backups to removable media.

  • Peachtree has released Peachtree Accounting for Windows 2003 and Peachtree Complete Accounting for Windows 2003. Support for these new versions was added to our Net Update system shortly after the software was available (subscribers only).

  • Support for Brother P-Touch printers was also added to the software. You can now use these printers to print work ticket labels. Three work ticket label formats were added to support 6mm, 9mm and 12mm size labels. These labels are usable right away but mainly demonstrate how the system works. We anticipate that most labs will want a custom label made with just the information they need.

  • A new window was added for Printer Setup. The new window is better designed and contains all of the printer related items that used to be in the User Options window.

  • The Accounting Integration options were moved to the Lab Settings window.

  • A new Customers View was added to the software. This view let's you do all the cool things Views allow to your customer list. For example, you could group on the New column to see just your new customers.

  • Inactive employees no longer show in the Time Clock.

  • A bug that prevented you from changing a scheduled task due date after double-clicking on it was fixed. You could change the due date if you clicked the elipsis button (...) in the due date field but not when you double-clicked on the row.

Quick Tip

In several of Case Manager's views there are Customer columns. Double-click on a cell under the Customer column to bring up the Customer window for that customer. If you double-click on a cell under the Case Number column the case will be loaded and ready for editing in the Cases window.
